Middle school students can be one of the toughest age groups to motivate when it comes to fundraising. They’ve probably been selling throughout their elementary school years and no longer want the cheap ‘dollar store’ prizes. The key is to find out what will motivate students in this age group and incorporate it into your fundraiser.

The last thing middle school students want is more of the same so it’s time to try some new ideas. The first rule of thumb is to make your fundraiser both fun and competitive. Consider dividing you students into smaller groups and offer incentives for the team that sells the most.
